During the Festival of the First Tide, courier LuNoir is pursued across Ole Sayle Port while delivering a mysterious package bearing Quicksand’s mark. Her escape brings her into contact with sharp-tongued Chancey, theatrical musician Fhueco, gentle farmer Vargo and the secretive Ramon. Forced to fight together, the unlikely companions discover research concerning the lost Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas.
Guardians of the Islands follows LuNoir and an unlikely band of companions as buried promises, living sand and the mysteries of the islands pull them into a shared adventure.
